Resumen

Europa fue pionera en la asistencia psiquiátrica y en alcanzar un sólido nivel académico de la historiografía psiquiátrica. Los trabajos en esta área presentan, desde los últimos años, un extraordinario renacer. En el presente trabajo se hace una descripción de las publicaciones en libros y revistas y de las corrientes de la historiografía psiquiátrica actual.

HISTORY OF PSYCHIATRY IN EUROPE. DIFFERENT WAYS TO MAKE HISTORY OF PSYCHIATRY
Summary

Europe was at the first line in the psychiatric assistance and in the academic level on psychiatric historiography. In the last few years, we are seeing a revival in the researching in this field. In this article the authors review the publications on this subject in books and journals as well as the currents in the present psychiatric historiography.
